At 777Stone we do our best to meet your needs. As a result, most of our concrete products can be purchased per piece, per layer (9-12sqft increments), or per bundle. Concrete products sold as a combo (i.e. multiple sizes) are normally sold by the layer or bundle. Special orders are sold only by the bundle (no single pieces or layers).
Soils and mulches are sold loose, by the yard, in bulk bags (1 yard each) or in small 40-50lb bags. Gravels, sands and decorative stones are sold loose, by the ton, in bulk bags (1.5 ton each) or in small 80lb bags.

No. We are strictly a landscape supply company.
The amount of gravel required depends on the project itself as well as the total size of the project.
For reference:
1 ton of gravel or sand will cover 100sqft at 2" deep.
1 yard of soil or mulch will cover 100sqft at 3" deep.
| Application | Function | When Required | Grid Placement |
| Retaining Wall | Structural tie-back | >3 ft high, slope, surcharge | Every 2–3 block courses, extend 3–6 ft back |
| Paver Driveway | Sub-base reinforcement | Weak soil, slope, heavy load | Below base gravel (and sometimes mid-base) |
| Feature | Gator Super Sand / SuperSand Bond | Gator Maxx / Maxx (original) | G2 / Generation 2 (Super Sand G2 / Maxx G2) |
| Intended joint width / application limit | Up to ~1″ joints in “traditional” applications (i.e. pavers on compacted base). | Maxx was intended for slightly wider joints, and for more demanding uses (sometimes overlay / heavier use) in original line. | G2 Supersand: up to ~2″ for “traditional” paver joints (Alliance Gator) G2 Maxx: up to ~4″ in traditional applications; in overlay applications limited to ~2″. |
| Overlay / slab / concrete base compatibility | Original Super Sand is generally for “traditional” paver installations (i.e. not directly on concrete slab) | Maxx original had some allowance for overlay uses (but with constraints) | G2 Maxx supports both traditional and overlay applications (with joint width limits) |
| Haze / dust / ease of installation | The original lines required more careful handling (e.g. multi-step watering, keeping surfaces dry, avoiding haze) | Similar constraints; more advanced users often preferred Maxx for more robust jobs | The G2 line is marketed as “no dust, haze-free, one watering, no blower needed” — the intelligent polymers are said to neutralize haze/dust and simplify installation. |
| Cure / rain safety | Original Super Sand becomes rain safe in ~1 hour (in “traditional” application) | Maxx had longer or more conservative cure/rain-safe windows in some use cases | G2 products generally are rain safe ~15 minutes in traditional use, though for overlay uses longer (e.g. 24h) for G2 Maxx |
| Color / product options | Typically available in standard colors (e.g. Beige, Slate Grey) | Similar to above, possibly fewer extended colors in original | G2 Maxx offers more color options (Beige, Slate Grey, Ivory, Black Diamond) |
| Warranty / durability / marketing claims | 15-year limited warranty (for many of their polymeric sands) | Comparable warranty claims on Maxx line | G2 lines also carry 15-year limited warranties |
| Use cases / suitability | Best for pedestrian patio, walkways, pool decks, light driveways (with narrow joints) | More heavy duty / larger joint / more demanding conditions | G2 Maxx is the most “robust / flexible” option in the Gator lineup (for wider joints, overlay, more challenging installations) |
Best Time to Seed or Overseed a Lawn in Ontario:
👉 Mid-August to Late September is ideal.
- Warm soil + cool air = fast germination
- Fewer weeds and steady rainfall
- Gives roots time to establish before winter
Spring (late April–early June): okay but riskier — weeds grow faster and summer heat hits young grass.
Summer (July–early August): avoid — too hot and dry.
Pro tip: Aerate first, keep soil moist, and use a cool-season mix (bluegrass, ryegrass, fescue).
